Dear Diary,
Well, it's been a while, hasn't it?
One comment apparently supportive of my plans, and no e-mails. So the ranking hasn't changed.
In, and when:
- Bus coverage updates for North Seattle. Starting March 2027, and about every six months thereafter
- North Seattle baseline, very likely along the lines outlined in "Building a Baseline", that is, everything hike plus extras including, now, places listed in the 9th edition of The Emerald City Resource Guide. Summer 2027
- Water fountain hike of North Seattle. December 2027
- Downtown baseline by similar principles, which means the resource guide will heavily dominate. Summer 2027 or 2028
- Water fountain hike of downtown. December 2027 or 2028
- Near downtown baseline by similar principles, but possibly plus the local unopened streets. Summer 2028, probably
- Library hours, at least public and academic libraries of western Washington. Starting fall 2028
- Water fountain hike of near downtown. December 2028, probably
- Unopened streets of North Seattle. Summer 2028 or 2029
- Construction in any area and year I do an everything hike.
- Restrooms and water fountains at Link stations and other transit centers, as and when I can get to them.
Out:
- Other cities, unless
- I find a bicycle I like and
- I find myself bored after the unopened streets are done.
- RV parking
- Public access to the buildings of UW-Seattle, Magnuson Park, and North Seattle College
- County-level work
I don't know, dear Diary, exactly when we'll meet again. My next plan is to update the weather information page, but that means a certain amount of pounding on the website of the National Weather Service, which has recently shown signs of resenting such behaviour. Hence, I might slow-walk my information gathering.
So again, dear Diary, happy days and nights until we meet again.
